THE CITY OF OCEANSIDE
Central to all, A Strand of Paradise is a short walk to Oceanside’s historic wooden pier, a Cape Cod-style harbor village, and a bustling town filled with restaurants, theaters, shops, and more! As the tide waxes and wanes through the day, your stay at the Strand of Paradise is transformed from having a wide pebble beach to the waves rolling right up to the sidewalk.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
You can enjoy bike riding, surfing, and boogie boarding right out your front door or getaway for the day at one of Southern California’s famous attractions including LEGOLAND, SeaWorld, Disneyland, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo and Safari Park.

WEEKLY FARMER'S & SUNSET MARKETS

For those who like food, culture, and craft, check out the Oceanside Farmer's Market and Sunset Market. Held every Thursday from 9 AM - 1 PM. and 5-9 PM in downtown Oceanside, it's a great place to get a taste of what San Diego's local agriculturalists, chefs, bakers, and artisans have to offer. You can also attend their special events It's a mere 15-minute walk or 7-minute drive from A Strand of Paradise.

Are you visiting The Strand between April and August? Read up on the seasonal schedules for San Diego's Bioluminescence and Grunyen Run, a must-attend, nightly phenomenon for any patient nature lover or those looking for a seaside evening activity.
